For those of you who don’t know, The Cannes Film festival is a global film festival that is held in Cannes, France (aka: the playground for the rich and famous). The event gives producers the opportunity to premiere films of all genres to an audience of members of the film industry and celebrities.
Although the purpose of the festival is to present films, fashion is a major aspect of the event. The infamous red carpet is a runway for models, actresses, and other celebrities to display elegant gowns and ensembles that embody the classy Cannes Film Festival. Not only is the fashion impeccable on the red carpet, but the display of gorgeous clothes continues in the street-style of those who attend the festival. However, today my post is focused on the gowns at the main event. I created a slideshow of my absolute favorite looks from this year’s Cannes Film Festival that you can view below. I enjoyed the gowns that were very simple but dressed up with a lot of jewelry.
